Once you’ve spent Sunday with us, the easiest way to get involved in our community is to join a group or two to serve and grow together. On this page you can learn more about our discipleship, fellowship, and service groups.

Children’s Church

On Sunday while the adults worship, children have their own worship time designed to prepare them for the day when they’re old enough to join “Big Church.” They sing, learn, make crafts, play games, and memorize Scripture in a format that feels like Sunday worship. We let parents decide when their children are mature enough to join the main worship service, so kids up to 3rd grade are welcome at Children’s Church.

If you love kids, we’re always looking for more teachers and helpers!

Wednesday Discipleship

At 6:00 on Wednesdays in the Spring and Fall we offer discipleship for all ages

Women’s Bible Study walks through one Bible book at a time using the inductive method, designed to help you learn to study the Bible yourself.

Knowing God Deeply walks through systematic theology, asking what the whole Bible says about one topic at a time.

Music Makers teaches children and teenagers how to sing, play musical instruments, and contribute to the church’s worship. Sometimes they sing with the adult choir or worship team, too.

A Focused Student Ministry

Across our country, young adults are leaving the church shortly after they leave home. Can student ministry be done in a way that effectively passes on our faith to the next generation? We believe it can, and we’ve focused our student ministry on what they need most: discipleship, friends, and a mentor. Students have a Sunday School class where they make Christian friends and learn to read their Bibles for themselves before joining the adults for Sunday Worship. They also get assigned a mentor about a decade older than them to befriend them and meet regularly with them, in coordination with their parents. We’re finding, from the students we’ve graduated through this program, that this is a much more effective way to prepare students to stick with Jesus through college and adulthood.

Young Leader’s Cohort

For young adults who are new to a leadership position or who want to lead beyond where they’re currently serving. We have lunch, read leadership books together, and talk about the church’s decision-making processes. Ask Pastor Dave if you’re interested.

Choir

Our choir calls us to worship with an anthem twice a month and helps lead our congregational singing. It’s a fun group that’s both close to each other and welcoming to newcomers. If you love to sing, come join us at 6:45 Wednesday for rehearsals. On the Sundays when we sing, we warm up at 10:15.

Pastor’s Prayer & Coffee

Most revivals begin with a small group who get their lives right before God and gather to ask God to pour out his Spirit. This group gathers at 9:00 on Wednesday mornings in the pastor’s office to pray for God’s work in the church and ask for revival.

All-Church Prayer Lunch

The third Sunday of each month, we gather the whole church for a pitch-in lunch and prayer meeting.

Music Makers

On Wednesday evenings during Adult Bible Studies, we teach children singing, instruments, and the spirit of worship. Our prayer is that the Lord will use these times to raise up new church musicians and worshipers for the future.

Deacons

Every family in the church is assigned to a deacon who calls at least once a month, helps with practical needs, and steps in to help during crisis times.

J.O.Y.

Our J.O.Y. Ministry (Just Older Youth) is designed to give seniors chances to fellowship and make friends. We know the later years of life can be lonely, so we want to do all we can to help you find godly friends.
