Dave Cook, DEdMin
Senior Pastor
Dave preaches, develops leaders, and works to rally our many activities around our mission to make, train, and send disciples of Jesus. He loves to see the words of the Bible made clear and real to people and to develop leaders who take God’s authority over them more seriously than their influence over others.
Dave was raised in the swamps and cypress trees of central Florida, where he began following Jesus as a teenager. He holds a Doctor of Educational Ministry in Leadership and a Master of Arts in Worship from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dave is the author of Leading from the Foundation Up: How Fearing God Builds Stronger Leaders and various works for 9Marks, Themelios, and others. He is also an adjunct faculty member of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He is husband to Emily and dad to Sarah, Josiah, Lydia, and Anna.
Paul Webb
Worship Leader, Deacon
Paul leads our music ministries and helps teach our student ministry. He loves to see the church sing Gospel truths together and see young Christians show the fruit of the Spirit in their everyday lives.
Paul is working towards a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also works as Assistant Director at our local Chick-Fil-A.
Paul is husband to Katie and dad to a wildly lovable pup named Luna.
Karen Melvin
Office Administrator
Karen keeps the day-to-day operations of our office humming. Before serving here, she served in other nearby churches as Accountant, VBS Director, and Children’s Church Director, She loves to study God’s word and see his Kingdom advance in Greenwood and all over the world. She and her husband love to camp and hike.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Indianapolis. She has worked in management for JC Penny, Kroger, and the State of Indiana
Karen is wife to Randall, mom to five boys and one girl, grandma to 20 and great-grandma to 2.
Mindy Donoho
Women’s Ministry Director, Facilities Manager
Mindy handles the workings of our facility and leads our women’s ministry. She loves to serve the church and serve others however she can, which has led her to hold all a wide variety of positions through the years while she worked as a Registered Pharmacist with a B.S. from Baylor.
Along with local church ministry, Mindy loves mission work. She has supported and participated in various mission works, including Bible Orphan Ministries in Ukraine and Life Center Here in Indianapolis. She also loves cheering for her Colts.
Mindy is wife to Greg and mom to Dima, Ethan, Liam, and Elena.
Sandy Phelps
Choir Director
Sandy coordinates our Choir, which encourages lively singing on Sunday morning. She also leads our Music Makers ministry, which teaches curious children and adults the basics of music to help build a church that loves to worship in song.
Sandy lives in Greenwood with her husband Ken where they enjoy crafting, house projects, hosting, and cooking.
Ian Hilderman
Leadership Intern
Ian is studying at Boyce College and working in biotechnology while he works with us and considers a calling to pastoral ministry. Join us in praying that serving and studying will give him clarity on God’s direction and prepare him for whatever may come next.
Bob Williams
Building Committee Chairman
Bob leads the committee that cares for our building and grounds. They oversee maintenance and repairs, make plans for future upgrades, and help keep the grounds secure. Bob and his wife Sharon live in Greenwood, where they enjoy cars, auctions, and house projects.
